Welcome Traveler

Welcome to Expedition UtahExpeditionUtah.com is a one-stop website for any and all vehicle based overlanders, and expedition enthusiasts who enjoy trekking throughout the state of Utah. However, the goal isn’t to be limited to just vehicle based recreation, rather it will be the focus. For that reason you won’t find vehicle tech information or equipment reviews.

The site is initially broken down into five Utah state regions, each covering a different portion of the state. Each region will have subcategories such as, links to town websites, ghost towns, mine sites, historical features of all types, route information, past & upcoming trip reports, and maps.

On the lower portion of the main forum page, various alliance sites (other states/regions) have been added primarily due to member’s requests and needs. These include most of western North America including our members in Central and South America. Should there be a state or region not included that you, as an active member require, please feel free to contact us about your request and we will be happy to add it for you.

The key to success for this dynamic forum is an active membership. Ideally, ExpeditionUtah.com members will contribute their own trip reports, maps, research, etc. to the database. These will in turn help others plan and research their own trips. We are not here to plan trips for each other, but rather supply the tools to do so oneself.

  • Purpose: To provide a one-stop website for overland trekking in the state of Utah.
  • Members: ExpeditionUtah.com members will contribute their own trip reports, maps, research, etc to the database. These will in turn help others plan and research their own trips. We are not here to plan trips for others, rather give them some tools to do so themselves. We also encourage our members to enter into discussions about trips, places, information and to get to know each other and perhaps, join each other on various outings.
  • Info Sharing: ExpeditionUtah.com isn’t a place to “give away secrets”, rather to help others develop their own. For that reason the site isn’t viewable to non-members and some content is restricted to supporting members.
