Join us in AFC for NPLD – Sept 23rd-24th, 2016
Join ExpeditionUtah for our annual National Public Lands Day (NPLD) service project in American Fork Canyon. ExpeditionUtah has formally adopted the Miller Hill 4×4 Trail and we will be primarily working on that route as well as assisting other clubs in the canyon on their NPLD projects.We do plan to have a camp activity on Friday evening (9/23), agenda TBA but plan on a fun campfire experience followed by some hard work on Saturday (9/24).
Our plans Saturday include some maintenance on the George Tyng grave fence that we built in 2015, installation of signs. General trash pickup along the trail and campsites. Inventory of camping locations along the route.
For those planning to camp with us on Friday evening, we will plan to meet at the South Fork Ranger Station at 6PM. For those meeting us on Saturday, we’ll plan to meet at Dutchman Flats.
This event is open to all ExpeditionUtah members, please RSVP here in this thread so we have a rough number to expect. We are limiting camping on Friday evening to 15 vehicle so we can all camp in the same area.
