Thistle is the only one I've never poked around in. Never actually tried, or checked, but just sort of presumed it would be gated, or locked or something. But maybe not?

Picture in the article looks very "ghost hotel", too, BTW... Not saying anything, just that it did strike me that way.

I'm with you Dave. I've driven passed Thistle a thousand times yet never really stopped to wander. It's on my list to formally document for the Utah Ghost Town Project database.

I've poked around Thistle. There's the flooded house on the east side of 89, and some heavily vandalized brick/concrete foundations on the left side and a little north, but I don't think there's much else left? I'd love to know if there is.

I saw the mudslide, a few days after it happened. The water had already backed up quite a bit.
