Founded in 1868. A small but active mining camp it served as the company town of the Old Dominion Mining Company. During it’s time the population fluctuated between about 25 and 50. Mining operations resumed intermittently clear up into the 1990’s and my last visit showed signs of current limited activity.

Directions to Get There: From Warm Springs, 8 miles north on US 6, exit left for 3.5 miles, take left fork for 3.5 miles. Bear right at the fork and follow for another 6.5 miles, go left and follow this road for 2 miles.
