Founded in the early 1870’s when ore was found in the canyon. With a population of 25. Abandoned by 1883. Sporadic mining has taken place at different times since.

Site is open with some cabins still standing and some stone ruins and various cool stuff to see.

Directions to Get There: From Nyala, continue north on the Currant-Nyala road for 12.5 miles, turn right and follow Irwin Canyon road for 3 miles.
